Paul is a hugely experienced PR professional, journalist and a published author, with more than 30 years of industry experience, both in the UK and USA. Few know the media landscape better. His career began at the Dundee HQ of journalism giants D. C. Thomson, working on The Weekly News, Evening Telegraph and Sporting Post. Paul went on to become a key member of the dynamic writing team at the Edinburgh Evening News, where he enjoyed 10 years before joining Heart of Midlothian FC. He spent nine years as the club’s Head of Media and Public Relations, delivering many successful high-profile campaigns, both locally and nationally.
